Dear Diary
Who the hell starts a dairy like that? I haven’t written in this thing in years. It’s probably been about ten long years since I’ve actually felt the need to write my thoughts down. Serah told me to start writing in this thing again, of course she’s the one who suggested having something like this. Well, Elena is nine and she’ll be ten real soon slowly hitting those teenage years and doing this alone has been difficult and while I know she knows she is loved so much by her aunt and myself along with the extended family we have, I can’t help but think she feels like a piece of her is missing. I’ve done all I can to tell her about Noctis but stories aren’t enough and I know when those days roll around where she wishes she had a father like everyone else. That’s all I ever wanted for her, a normal life. I’m pulling out my hair here trying to figure out something more to give her to make her feel like he is still here or as if she isn’t missing out on anything at all. I really hope I have been raising her right over the last ten years, I feel like I don’t know what I am doing, we are in this together…
